Airline Failure - Notification from Mind The Gap Year - Air Tanzania

The media reported yesterday that over the past weekend the entire fleet of Air Tanzania, Tanzania’s national carrier, has been temporarily grounded. The suspension of operations comes after the Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority cancelled the carrier's operating licence, following an inspection that revealed hundreds of operational breaches. Travellers holding pre-booked tickets with the carrier are advised to contact their travel agent for alternative flight arrangements.
